Memorial for Shirley Haws Pohlsander in Stockton Missouri

  We traveled to Stockton Missouri for the memorial for Sheri's mother Shirley Haws Pohlsander.  I took many pictures of family figuring Sheri would  e talking too much to get good pictures.  Miranda, Charity and Riley and Sheri and I and Tony where there.  Two of sheri's siblings have passed away

Funeral of Trevor Wardle: 2009

Funerals, although sad, are good for genealogy, because in brings family together.  Here are pictures of my family from Trevor's funeral.  Trevor is my nephew, Weldon's youngest.  Trevor died in a car accident.

Clyde Eugene Buff Junior: Funeral

Buffy, Clyde and Sara's oldest son an my mother's oldest grandchild passed away January 31, 2014.  He had a sudden heart attack.  His funeral was February 8.  It was a very somber occasion.  All of us siblings were there, but Dianna and Mark left early to catch a plane.

The ceremony was very nice.  Dillon and Geneve sang "Please Remember Me."  "Please Remember Me"

However, this funeral was profound, and the grief and pain were profound.  Reminded me of the song from Les Miserables, 

There's a grief that can't be spoken.
There's a pain goes on and on.
Empty chairs at empty tables
Now my friends are dead and gone.

Parting and grieving is so hard.  I hope everyone can get through it.

Clyde and Krista talked at the funeral.  Their bishop also talked, about his struggle with alcohol.  Buffy had his own problems, and seven years sobriety.  Many people took time to say how Buffy had benefited them.  Buffy was active in AA and sober riders.  

Verna Larene Wardle Green: Funeral Program

Pocatello-  Verna LaRene Wardle Green, Pocatello, passed away Tueasda, march 2, 1020, at Portneuf Medical Center with members of her family by her side.
Verna was born July 10, 1929, to James Wilford and Melissa Ann Shaw Wardle in Rigby, Idaho.  SHe was the youngest of their eight children.  Three of her siblis died as babies, so the family she grew up in had three sisters and a brother.
Her sisters were Audre (Ellis) Chase, Lula (Jack) Beasley, Phyllis (James) Olsen and James (Ileen) Wardle.  They all preceded her in death.  After graduating from high school, Verna jointed the United States Army, and was always proud of her service in the military.
While in the Army she met and married the love of her life, Bill Green.  They were later sealed in the LDS Temple and they enjoyed giving service to their community and to their church.  Together they had three children, Danny (Sadie) Green, Billy Green and LaRene Green.
After leaving the Army, Verna obtained her teaching certificate and taught at several schools in Eastern Idaho.  She always loved being a teacher.  Bill, her husband, was a great mechanic and they spent many years living in California, where Bill became a top troubleshooter for a large trucking company.
Verna enjoyed giving service to her fellow men and was always finding ways to help out.  Her and the family enjoyed camping, and she always loved going beck to Teton Basin to inspire her soul.  Verna also served as an election worker and was passionate about people voting.  She felt that her and Bill served in the military to protect our right to vote. 
She was a collector and always had a lot of interesting items to share with her family and friends.  But Verna's greatest love was for quilting and sewing.  To have one of Verna's quilts was always a highlight of her family and friends.
Verna is survived by her daughter, Larene; three grandchildren, Danielle, Gene (Aeriana) and Stephani (Austin); six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
