  1. Thank you for posting this letter. I have determined that it was probably written after July 1875 and before June 1879 based on the mention of the children in this letter. Silas was born in 1875 and he is mentioned. Son Junius was born in June 1879 and there is no mention of him in the letter.

  2. Iva Wardle Beckstead After further reasoning, this letter was probably written between Feb 1879, his arrival in England on his mission and his release date Sep 26, 1879.
