This talk was given by one of the Buff children, most likely Krista My talk today is about my Great Grandmother Mina Geneve Brandley. She was born on June 6, 1891 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was blessed on September 6. Geneve was baptized on June 6, 1899. She was 8 years old. She was baptized in a large bath tub in her bishop's house. She went to school in Utah and Nevada. Sewing and cooking were two of her best talents. She loved to make aprons for her family and friends. I have one of them here. She married for the first time to William Springall in 1911. They had four children. William died in December 1925. She helped feed her family by babysitting other kids. She married the father of one of the children Charles James Wright. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple in 1946. In 1929 she had twin girls. One was my grandmother Ileen Wardle. Grandmother Wright was always kind to everyone. She loved to do things for other people. She always wanted to cook for everyone when they came to her home. Grandmother Wright died in the Idaho Falls Hospital in September 1972. My sister Geneve is named for my Great-grandmother Mina Geneve.
