Ronald William Wardle (Dad's Cousin) Funeral Program and Obituary

Ronal William Wardle is my father's cousin.  He is the son of Norval Junius and Delsa Taysom Wardle.

Ronald William Wardle
Ronald William Wardle of Logan and Ames, Iowa, died at age 69 on Sept. 18, 2006, after a difficult illness.
Ronald is remembered by his family and many friends for his gentle spirit and ability to accept misfortune without bitterness.  He was a student of scripture, of philosophy, and of mathematics and physics, specifically improved yacht hull design hydrodynamic models.  Another of his unique interests was Middle English literature which he read in the gothic script.
Dearest among the many friends he cherished and who cherished him were his classmates in the Ames High class of 1955 who provided particular love and encouragement throughout his life.  Nieces, nephews and children in his Sunday school classes were captivated by his dramatic poem recitations.
Ronald was even more loyal to Ames than his parents and brothers and sister, and lived there 38 years before moving to Logan for the peace of mind of his mother and father.  In Logan he was a great assistance to his parents in their advancing years.  He served in the Logan LDS Temple for many years.
Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Carol; and father Norval Junius Wardle.  He is survived by his mother, Delsa Taysom Wardle of Logan; a sister, Ilene Lyons of Sunrise, Fla.; and brothers, Leon of Wayland, Mass., Terry of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Michael of Las Vegas and Robert of Logan.  the family wishes to extend special thanks to all who helped Ron at Legacy House of Logan and with Access Hospice.
The funeral will be help at 11 a.m. on Friday Sept. 22, at the Logan Fifth Ward chapel.  He will be interred on Friday beside his father and sister Carol in Rockland, Idaho.  In lieu of flowers, friends and family who would prefer may send a donation to the Norval Junius Wardle Scholarship in care of Iowa State University Foundation (Attn. Monica Porter), 2505 Elwood Drive, Ames, Iowa 50010.
Condolences and memories may be sent to the family at  Arrangement by Allen-Hall Mortuary.
